Almost a year since I last blogged. Not sure where to attribute my writer's block excuse... but let's just say I got stuck in the internet morass. I pinned my hopes on building a website and it's presently waterlogged. I didn't blog here and I didn't blog there.
Today my friend Ken came by and said blogging is all the rage for bringing clients to websites. He was speaking about real estate websites. I guess the search engines like Google direct people to your website on the basis of the words used in your blog. They might recognize you as a resource on let's say... houses in Austin, Texas or the New York Yankees... or making pizza.. You talk about those topics with some regularity at your website and the web surfers might be directed to your site. At least that's how I understand it. So maybe somebody will find me out here in the ether.
What should be my word of the day? I need to steer clear of Salmonella. Don't want or need that kind of traffic... How about ellipsis... you know the three little dots... I've always like ellipsis, not sure of the plural of ellipsis. There is something open-ended about the ellipsis. Not sure there are a lot of people searching that word...
How about lottery winnings? Or maybe-- meeting the perfect mate. Not sure what the best terminology for that would be. I could try Borack Obama... maybe a few of those references on the internet. Maybe I should go more esoteric-- or more self-improvement... Battle of the Bulge. I'll get the WWII buffs or the weight-loss crowd. Maybe Buddy Hackett-- an old-time comedian and I bet Buddy does not get the amount of web support he deserves. Now Pauly Shore is another story...

It's good to be back blogging...
